Micro-deposits are two small test deposits we send to your bank account to verify that we have the correct account information for your selected funding account.
Certain financial institutions require micro-deposit verification to allow transfers. If your financial institution requires these steps, the ChangEd app will notify you in your settings menu.
You will need to input your account and routing number so we can submit two micro-deposits to move forward with the verification process. The deposits usually arrive within two to three business days and are listed on your bank statement as "Changed" or "Nodexxxxxx" depending on how your institution translates the description of these deposits. Once you see these, head on back into the settings of your app and verify them. Once complete, ChangEd will officially be able to start nickel and diming your student loan!
